In less than a week, the unveiling of the 2011 Ford Mustang engine lineup will be seen on the upcoming LA Auto Show. Recently Ford releases a piece of information about the new 2011 Mustang powerplants and have only announced some specifications on the V6. The Duratec 3.7 and Coyote 5.0 have been speculated engines for 2011 and with the announcement that the 3.7L V6, offering an awesome 305 horsepower is confirmed the Mustang community is leading at a more likely chance of a 400 horsepower Mustang GT. This is a big news headed in the LA Auto Show in competing with GM’s Chevy Camaro which has been smoking the 210-horsepower Mustang with more than 300 horses.
But the great thing about it is that the 2011 Mustang promises to offer 305 horsepower and a 25% better fuel efficiency.

I think they had to announce this, even though a whole new car is due in 2012. You can’t have the Camaro, or for that matter a Hyundai Genesis with 300 plus horsepower V6 offerings and yours is 100 hp less, and your V8 is only slightly higher.
