2009 Best Musical Performance Winner on Oprah Show. The Oprah Winfrey Show has just released the online poll result for the best musical performance of 2009. Just heard the news while ago that our very own singing sensation Charice Pempengco tops Oprah’s online poll. Yes she’s the landslide winner with a whopping 70% votes, the Note to God performance remember?
“Note to God” is Charice’s debut international single which was launched on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” last May 18 this year. Note To God, is written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster, peaked at No. 35 in the Canadian Hot 100 and No. 44 in the US Billboard Hot 100.
In the meantime, Black Eyed Peas only got 9% can you believe it? — The “I Gotta Feeling” kick-off party performance with special dance choreography from the audience.
Other nominees were the comeback performance from Whitney Houston, Michael Buble, James Taylor and Journey, fronted by a filipino singer Arnel Pineda. Jennifer Hudson and the country band Rascal Flatts for “Summer Nights.”
